Paintings made of soft tones

She paints with soft tones, a few lines of colour that are able to enhance images and make them vivid and vibrant. The lines are neat, clearly defined, although without useless enrichments. In other words, Sery’s lines seem to be a search for value rather than for technique as an end in itself.
The works displayed include landscapes, countryside views, hidden and delicate corners that the artist is able to see in all their poetry. And there are southern towns with the delicate combination of light-coloured walls, sunlit roofs, street corners where life seems to have come to halt waiting for something. Or the olive-yards immersed in a lazy summer atmosphere…
